Travel Writing: Why I Love What I Do
We all dream of having the life of a traveler, don't we? Waking up in new places every few weeks, seeing what the world has to offer. As a travel writing blogger, I have the joy of sharing the life of a traveler with you first hand. Interacting with my readers is one of my favorite parts of my job, and I'm glad that you're here. Please take your time and have a look around my site - I look forward to getting to know you.
I love sharing the ups and downs of my journeys through travel writing, and I hope you'll enjoy my honest, upfront approach about my successes and struggles. One of my many goals in travel writing is to encourage my audience to get out and see the world. I understand that one of the scariest parts about traveling (especially traveling abroad) is not knowing what to expect. By sharing the toughest parts of my journeys through my travel writing, I hope that I can erase some of the normal, expected fear that comes with traveling to lands unknown.
On my recent trip to Thailand, I had the joy of writing about the highs and lows of my journey. As I travel, I love travel writing in a way that allows you to see the world through my eyes, as if you were there yourself. My history as a librarian has afforded my years of experience reading works by the best authors in the world, and having a vast collection of writing styles in my wheelhouse allows me to write in a way that appeals to all.
I'm glad you took the time to stop by Travelopolist, and I hope you enjoy learning more about my travels. I love to interact with my readers - please feel free to reach out. If you have any thoughts or questions, my inbox is always open.
